In August 2011, Joshua earned a spotlight role in "Beautiful Blows" from The Mayhem Production Company. He was cast alongside professional stage actors in the original play at the Royal Festival Hall at Southbank Theatre.
His acting career includes taking part in the Hollywood blockbuster movie Tarzan, Exodus: Gods and Kings as well as various cameos in London ads. He was also the main feature in Tate Modern’s 2007 summer exhibition The Fight which focused on boxing as an art and dance form.
